I don't comment hither much—but the cumbersome, complicated, and counterintuitive design and performance of this app simply stuns me. It's wearisome, it's janky, and it looks like it's from another planet that is non familiar with human habits of listening to music or working a computer. Can y'all tell I don't like it?

This software gets worse instead of better. You used to be able to view your playlists in a list instead of past looking at a huge list of pictures. This is just awful! Delight don't accept away features when you "update"! Ugh. I actually pay for this!

Since the BigSur update, this App no longer works on my MacBook Pro, and crashes the laptop every fourth dimension. This has been reported on many site, by lots of people now. Amazon, time to sort the app out.

After updating to BigSur Amazon Music causes a kernal panic and my Mac crashes hard (in 20 years of using a Mac this is the 5th fourth dimension something has washed this). Before this it was nigh a 3 or iv star app. I love the ultra HD, simply the interface and finding music demand an awful lot of help. As well probable 3 stars as it wants to load when the machine is restarted and takes a lot of endeavour to turn it off in more than the usual two places that manage this.

It can take a long fourth dimension to load, and can too be difficult to close downwardly. Otherwise, it does its job, and comes up with good suggestions. It seems to have indexed my Itunes library correctly too.

This is yet a vile invader - refuses to quit once installed. Once more, needed to delete it at all levels. Yeah, some true masochistic urge prompts me to try with every update. Yous'd call back I'd acquire, but, I still think there is no reason this app needs to be so hideous.

It would be MUCH better if it let you Cast Music to your Amazon Echo speakers like Spotify Connect. (from a mac or pc) - Note the mobile allows you cast music to these other speakers or groups of speakers, but the desktop app does not. When you exercise cast from mobile, information technology takes forever for the speaker to switch. Spotify connect is much simpler.

I keep downloading this in the now plain hopeless quest for an app that actually doesn't totally invade one'due south system and pass up to be quit! You'd think I'd learn.... The Software only updated on my Mac. Now whenever I click to play something it crashes. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted computer....everything I can recollect of. It will outset up just fine, simply when I click to play Anything, it just crashes. Is there a way to install an older version.

There is something wrong with this software, and it'southward been wrong for the last several versions. It's icon but keeps billowy in the dock, and you can't get rid of information technology, except to uninstall the software, which y'all have to exercise with uninstall software. Nope, information technology doesn't work. Running Mac OS 10.12.6 i7 MacBook Pro with 12GB RAM Will first first time only after quitting application and starting again a message saying 'application is not open' appears. No kidding that why double-clicked to get-go programme over again. I am nonetheless a glutton for punishment.

Not sure why all the 1 star reviews for this app. While the interface could exist improved, I've had cipher issues with finding music, adding favorites and streaming. I play most of my music via CD's I've ripped into iTunes, merely when I want to listen to something I don't own I employ Amazon music and have never had a problem.

I haven't had whatever problems with this app, though I utilize my Echos mostly for Amazon music. What I take a question near though is, How do I add an App to my Macupdate Watchlist with the new site layout? I don't see a button to follow anymore. I wanted to add together this app. Thanks

It appears that there is a known problem with Amazon Music v7.iv and v7.5 where they crash on launch on many Macs. In that location are several threads on the issue in Amazon's back up forum. The last version that appears to be working reliably is 7.3.two.1595. Do not update the app until Amazon releases a fix.

All recent releases simply plain crash. So, it is gone for the fourth dimension being.
